A small team of volunteers

Sherwood Digital is a small team of volunteers. We take what a congregation already has, a manuscript, a weekly word, a practice, a trade, and give it a free way to reach the people it was meant for.

We don't put our names on the work you own. Every book, recording, and page carries yours. But you should know who is accountable for Sherwood, so here he is.

David Zatara

Leads Sherwood Digital

David Zatara is an engineer and data scientist in Flagstaff, Arizona. For eleven years he ran Sherwood Digital as a marketing agency that served more than 100 clients. He carried its name and its skills into this work, so that congregations and neighbors with no budget get the same care paying clients did.

Sherwood Digital is affiliated with Digital Lutheran Church and rooted in the Lutheran tradition. We never bill the congregations and people we serve. The work is carried by gifts given through Digital Lutheran Church.

What every project lives by

It belongs to you Your name on every account, every file, every page. We step back when the work is done.
It serves freely Whoever needs it can have it. The gift was given freely. It goes out the same way.
It reaches anyone On any screen, in any home, at any hour, because the people who need it most often have the least.
It outlives us all Built to last past the platform, past the moment, past the people who made it.
